What Effects Has Neu-BeCALM'd Had On
Individuals With ADD/ADHD?
Neu-BeCALM'd has had dramatic results on
children and adults with ADD and ADHD. Over 60% of all patients were able to completely
stop taking Ritalin and other similar drugs, once they began taking beCALM'd.
In late 1991, Dr. Terry Neher began an open
study to see if certain amino acids and vitamins might be useful as an adjunct to the
treatment of ADD and ADHD.
For this study he chose the same amino acid/vitamin formulation
he had used over the last decade that had been so successful in treating stress-related
cases. The commercial name for the formulation is Neu-BeCALM'd.
In the 1991 test, the results were
startling. All of the patients in the study were taking Ritalin. In the first 3 days 60%
of the patients did as well on the beCALM'd as they had on the Ritalin. The remaining 40%
were put back on Ritalin and taken out of the experiment.
By the end of the second month,
the 60% still on beCALM'd were more symptom free than their parents could remember they
had ever been and by the end of the third month, there was little difference between these
patients and the general (non ADD) population.
